KCRW Standing Committees
Americanism – Promote honor and respect for our flag and country, fostering devotion to the United States as the greatest and freest nation in history.
Armed Services – Organize community activities and presentations that show support for America’s military: Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves, Veterans, and their families.
Awards – Track KCRW activities during the TFRW and NFRW biennium and prepare award applications for timely submission.
Bylaws – Review the club’s bylaws in light of TFRW and NFRW standards and recommend amendments as needed.
Caring for America – Develop and carry out community service projects that reflect the compassionate, caring philosophy of Republican women and the Republican Party.
Communications/Social Media – Assist the Communications Chair with social media posts, forms, announcements, and other materials for KCRW, TFRW, and NFRW events and activities.
Financial Review – Work with the Treasurer to review financial documents quarterly and annually, ensuring accuracy, ethics, and compliance with bylaws.
Fundraising – Plan and host enjoyable fundraising events that engage members and the local community while raising needed funds.
Historian/Photography – Photograph meetings and events, maintain documentation, and share images for communications, awards, and member activities.
Hospitality – Welcome members and guests at meetings and events, assist with setup (drinks, paper goods), and return supplies to storage.
Literacy/Education – Promote literacy by donating conservative family- and community-oriented children’s literature to schools, libraries, and other institutions.
Membership – Recruit new members and support renewals by providing membership forms at meetings and events.
Community Outreach/Engagement – Build relationships with diverse community groups, organize engagement projects, and expand membership through outreach.
Parliamentarian – Advise the President on parliamentary procedure, with knowledge of Robert’s Rules of Order.
Programs – Assist the Program Director in planning monthly meetings, special events, and activities that promote Republican values.
Reservations – Manage reservations for meetings and events, providing attendance data to the Program Director and Treasurer in time for planning.
Scholarship – Help develop criteria, applications, and deadlines for annual scholarships, review applications, and recommend qualified candidates for Executive Committee approval.
