Our May 6 meeting will feature the Honorable Kirsten Cohoon, Judge of the 451st Judicial District Court of Kendall County. Judge Cohoon will discuss the 451st District Court: "Where we were, where we are, and where we are going." Additionally, she will provide a brief legislative update.

A longtime resident, active leader in our community, and friend to many, Judge Cohoon brings both legal expertise and heart to the bench, handling everything from serious criminal cases to family and juvenile matters.
Before taking the bench, Kirsten spent eight years as Boerne’s City Attorney. She’s been twice honored as Texas’s Best Solo General Counsel and is known for her fairness, dedication, and commitment to public service.
Deeply invested in giving back, Kirsten founded local programs such as the Boerne Lemonade Day and 9/11 Wills for Heroes, and she has served on several boards including Boerne Performing Arts. She and her husband Patrick are proud parents of two, and they share their home with three lovable Labs.
Judge Kirsten Cohoon has proudly served Kendall County as the elected Judge of the 451st District Court since 2018.

June 3 Honoring Women Veterans
KCRW members and guests are invited to our event honoring women veterans on June 3 at Lost Oak Cellers in Boerne.
Check-in is at 5:30 p.m., and the event kicks off at 6:00 p.m.
This is a free, special event with Laura Koerner, a Naval Academy Graduate, Navy Veteran, Engineer, and Chairwoman of the Texas Veterans Commission.

July 22 An evening with Lucas Denney
Nearly a year after the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol Event, Lucas Denney was arrested and held in solitary confinement for more than 85 days without a single charge ever being filed. During and after his confinement, he lost everything. Lucas will share his personal story about what happened.
